We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Software Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and scale critical systems that power the gift card recipient experience used by millions of customers worldwide. You’ll be responsible for building fault-tolerant, distributed systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, resilient software at scale.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of professional experience building scalable fullstack applications.
Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as Angular or React and strong experience in backend development using Java and/or Node.js.
Strong computational and problem-solving skills; fluent in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Solid knowledge of modern computing concepts including:
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices
RESTful APIs and web services
Multithreaded and concurrent programming
Performance, reliability, scalability, and security best practices
Ability to differentiate good design and coding practices from anti-patterns.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Highly self-directed, with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.
